HP Spectre x360 rolls out with an essential upgrade of its third generation. The recent version of the HP’s flagship laptop has got thinner, faster and more compact. This structure adds glory to the check-off features. The pricing of the new HP Spectre x360 starts at $1049 in the US Market.
Design and Display
The HP Spectre x360 is made of CNC-aluminium. It slims down with the virtue of a “micro-edge bezel” design. This reduces the large bezel of the previous version. But it still keeps the same 13.3-inch touch enabled screen.
The single screen presented till now is a 1920×1080 IPS panel that utilises direct bonding. This enhancement saves down the width of the laptop from 12.79 inches to 12.03 inches, also the thickness from 16mm to 13.7mm. The Weight is reduced to 2.85 pounds from 3.17 pounds.
Performance and OS
HP has proclaimed only one model till date. Also, it uses the Intel’s Core i7-7500U. This is pretty much at the top of Intel’s brand-new 7th-gen chips. Storage options include up to a 512GB M.2 NVME SSD over PCIe. The UltraBook comes with 8GB of RAM. The latest Hp Spectre x360 runs on Window 10 Home OS.
The new Spectre x360 comes with a long lasting battery. According to HP, the battery can last up to 14 hours and 15 minutes. This feature is sported by a 57.8 watt-hour lithium polymer battery. This is far better compared to the previous generation Spectre x360’s 56-watt hour power pack which was rated to last for up to 12 hours. The new Spectre x360 comes with HP’s Fast Charging 65W Adaptor. It takes you from 0% to 50% charged in just 30 minutes.
One trait that HP brass flaunts is how the Spectre X360’s “hyperbaric chamber” makes the notebook thinner. Most of the laptops use a traditional heat pipe that has got a copper plate along with a wick material that facilitates to move the heat to a bigger piece of copper. This is then directly cooled using a fan.
